An apogee calculator created with a partner in MATLAB Simulink for the Illinois Tech Rocketry Team's IREC competition rocket.
I developed the calculator alongside rocket structures research using SolidWorks, ANSYS, and experimental launch data.
The calculator helps ensure theoretical performance data matches experimental results for Spaceport competition launches.
A Level 1 high-power rocket designed, assembled, and launched through the Illinois Institute of Technology Rocketry Team.
I worked through stability analysis, center-of-pressure calculations, fin geometry, recovery-system design, assembly, and launch preparation.
The successful flight gave me practical experience connecting aerodynamic analysis, construction decisions, and safe recovery.
An ongoing team project to create a competition rocket for the International Rocket Engineering Competition.
